FIRE CE Resets
by Admin User - Thursday, 22 October 2015, 02:13 PM

FIRE Continuing Education

For FIRE CE quiz resets (not EMS), e-mail Firefighter Laura Saavedra at laura.saavedra@houstontx.gov with:

  • name
  • payroll number
  • station assignment
  • CE course name
  • CE course number

To avoid asking to have a quiz reset, please pay more attention to the material.  You may find it helpful to open a separate window (CTRL + N) to assist in finding the answers to quiz questions you may not know.  Be mindful that it takes 3-6 minutes to reset a quiz, so spending a little more time than a minute or two trying to pass the quiz is helpful.

If you have any other questions, I may be reached at 832-394-7015

Training Entry Reports
by Admin User - Wednesday, 18 November 2009, 09:09 AM

Any course taken on Moodle is automatically registered in a member's training profile once the course is completed in HFDonline. It is no longer necessary for officers to entry monthly Fire CE into the Training Entry on the Staffing website. Training reports are now available. After logging onto Staffing, click on the Reports tab, then choose the "Training Hours by Class and Roster" report. To get the most accurate information, use an End Date later than the current date that you are inquiring. For example; today is October 31. Select the end date as November 1. This will allow the report to include work completed on October 31. Click on the link above to see a brief power point that walks you through the steps of the report.
